Enter an arcsecond value. The orbit is illustrative; 10″ or less is OK.
An illuminated crosshair passes through the lens and forms a transmitted image in the observation system. The rotating spindle provides the mechanical reference axis.
If the lens optical axis is offset from the spindle, the crosshair image traces a circle as the spindle turns. Adjust the lens position and rotate again until this circle becomes smaller and the image stays nearly still at the reference mark.

Founded in 2008, CenterMoon designs and manufactures centering instruments for optical production, with emphasis on reference-axis control, repeatable setup and practical operator use.
